Who are we? Code Camp is Australia's leading specialist school holiday and after-school provider We've taught over 90,000 kids in the past 9 years, and employ 1000 casual staff to help us.

Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic casual staff to assist at our after-school classes in Term 1

Are you?

  • Enjoy working with kids (ages 812)
  • Keen to learn about new technology and passionate about mentoring kids, building their knowledge and confidence
  • Able to engage with kids, motivate and manage them within a classroom environment
  • Trustworthy, Independent, punctual and reliable
  • Available during afterschool hours as a regular ongoing class for Term
  • Able and willing to travel to class location in Unley (possibility for other locations if available)

Required Skills:

Whilst we don't require a specific degree or coding experience, interest in technology is a must and you should have some of the following experience (or similar):

  • Experience or enjoy working with young kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can-do attitude
  • Mature outlook, common sense and ability to identify and take action to manage risk and ensure active supervision of children inside and outside the classroom
  • Tech savvy, ability to troubleshoot and problem solve or reach out to our IT support team when needed
  • Fluent conversational English
  • Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain it immediately
  • RRHAN-EC certiicate or willingess to obtain it immediately

About the position:

  • Deliver and facilitate our lesson plan to a class of 1220 students (with a second teacher if larger class)
  • Responsible for keeping the class on track
  • Engaging with the students in a fun and safe way inside and outside the classroom
  • Ensuring the classroom is a fun environment for the students
  • Keeping in contact with Head Office if you have any questions or concerns
  • Attend staff training
