Kids Soccer Coach

Grasshopper Soccer is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager to oversee our weekend soccer programs. **Role Overview**:

- **Location**: Sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays at designated locations.
- **Hours**: 3 to 4-hour shifts each morning, with a commitment to an 8-week term essential.
- **Pay**: Starting at $35 per hour, with the potential for adjustments based on performance.
- **Training**: On-the-job training will be provided this term to ensure you are well-prepared.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee weekend soccer sessions, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and encouraging approach to both coaching and management.
- Coordinate and support a team of coaches, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Implement and adapt session plans to meet the needs of the participants and the program.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and operational policies and procedures.
- Engage with parents and guardians, providing updates and feedback on the program and participants.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- At least 1 year of experience in a management role.
- At least 1 year of coaching experience, preferably in sports or similar activities, with a reference.
- Availability to work Saturday and Sunday mornings for 3 to 4-hour shifts.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Must possess own transport and a valid driver's license.
- Required to have or be able to obtain a Working with Children check ASAP.
- Required to have or be able to obtain a First Aid certification.

Expected hours: 3 - 8 per week

- Morning shift
