DESCRIPTION

The AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team is seeking a skilled technical program manager to lead Data Center and Network Capacity planning in APAC. Your main task will be assessing demand requirements and available network resources to determine optimal solutions for customers. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to meeting pre-requisites for networking capacity delivery. By spearheading programs, you will enhance infrastructure resource utilization and availability. Your role also involves coordinating with teams across the AWS Organization to efficiently plan and execute data center capacity.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor network health, anticipate risks, and resolve issues to ensure customer demand is met
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes
  • Manage project dependencies and negotiate trade-offs between projects
  • Provide regular progress reports on programs
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for program execution and success
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Implement scalable, data-driven process improvement solutions
  • Keep customer experience as the primary focus
  • Meet or exceed Amazon's leadership principles expectations for the role

About the team:
The Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team focuses on ensuring data center network and port capacity meets customer demands. This capacity is essential for customer racks to access the AWS network and provide service capacity. TIPMs collaborate with other teams to ensure timely planning and delivery of datacenter capacity.

We are looking for candidates willing to work from either Sydney, AUS or Sydney, NSW, AUS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
- 3+ years experience in infrastructure builds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies in infrastructure, such as network, data center, hardware, and software
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, as well as basic knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Tableau
