With a rich and successful history, our Vehicles and Tactical Systems operations encompass a variety of specialist business segments including Protected Vehicles, Munitions, Weapons and Sensors and Explosive Ordnance Services.
Leveraging your proven skills and experience, you will take on this senior role as you lead and manage various bid processes with a commercial mindset that thinks big and engages others to make it happen.
You will play a key strategic role as you contribute to our ongoing growth and success within various growing markets that are full of opportunity.
Collaborating with a variety of senior stakeholders, bid professionals and technical representatives, you will achieve a variety of key business objectives while playing a central role in our broader long-term strategy.
Your exciting new career opportunity will see you;- Leading and managing bids and related processes to produce a coordinated response to customer requirements in support of our Vehicles and Tactical Systems operations.
- Strategically developing high quality and competitive bid offers, ensuring an effective and collaborative working relationship with functional areas.
- Participating in various review processes, contributing to reporting requirements and providing specialist advice to the wider business.
- Ensuring that bid activities are strategically aligned to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Enjoying diverse market sectors as you also provide input to support other Business Units when required.
- Adherence to internal processes and related governance frameworks.
- Contributing to the professional development of other bid professionals.
How About You?
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Engineering, Project Management or related discipline) coupled with significant experience in a similar role.
- Extensive bid management experience with multipartners / major cocontractors.
- Strong background working across various stakeholder groups as you collectively drive business outcomes.
- Demonstrated team approach and tangible results in contributing to the development of high performing business winning teams.
- Those with APMP or PMP certification will be viewed favourably, as will those with Defence industry experience.
