About the role


Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Marketing and Communications, the Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for implementing unique and compelling B2B marketing campaigns across all media channels.


The Trade Marketing Executive will engage with Are Media stakeholders to inform trade marketing plans and creative campaigns that ultimately drive awareness and consideration amongst advertisers and their agencies.


This is the perfect role for a junior marketer looking to take the next step in management working closely with a seasoned leader on exciting projects from Australia's most loved magazine brands.


Duties

  • Implement and manage innovative multiplatform trade marketing and communication strategies to showcase Are Media's full range of capabilities to build brands, ultimately delivering high awareness and consideration, that directly leads to revenue generation
  • Execute all trade marketing events from guest lists through to venue management and experience
  • Execute Are Media's industry sponsorships and stakeholder groups ensuring laser sharp focus on Are Media brand messaging and establish strong relationships personally with all influential trade media outlets
  • Work collaboratively with Are Media PR agencies to develop communication pieces that drive awareness and consideration and are leveraged externally and across all Are Media internal, owned online and digital channels
  • Work closely with media monitoring for regular assessment of partnership and promotional programs and share updates with stakeholders via a monthly EDM

Skills and experience

  • Minimum 3 years marketing or PR experience preferably in a media organisation
  • Very Strong written and verbal skills
  • Event management experience essential
