The role
Join our growing Operations Support team located at our Regional Fulfilment Centre in Knoxfield.

Customers are at the forefront of everything that we do so your days will be full, supporting Lawrence & Hanson branches and the wider Supply Chain teams to ensure that we provide an exceptional service.

As the conduit between the branches and warehouse, you will be a great communicator and problem solver who is committed to getting the job done to achieve our business objectives.

To be successful you will need to be customer centric, detailed, responsive and cope well under pressure.

What you would do

  • Finalise delivery dockets and timely invoicing of all outbound orders
  • Accurately enter inbound goods into the ERP, resolve inbound discrepancies/errors with vendors
  • Book transport, track special/time critical orders, liaise with carriers on transport escalations
  • Maintain open communications with the wider supply chain team, branch / operations, and other cross functional departments
  • Assist warehouse where required
  • Be adaptable and agile sometimes needing to switch between tasks quickly
  • Be solutions oriented handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions, follow up and resolve issues whilst maintaining a positive attitude
  • Support yearend inventory and audit of warehouse
  • Maintain best practice filing of documents
  • Drive a Health and Safety culture, ensuring all team members work safely in adherence to Health & Safety practices

Is this for me?

  • Previous experience in customer service or retail environment
  • Transport support experience highly regarded
  • Sound data entry skills with a high level attention to detail
  • Systematic, organised, positive, solution oriented, team player
  • Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and time effectively
  • Adaptive and energised in a changing environment
  • Available to work from 10am 6pm 5 days per week
