This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service experience to join a dedicated and collaborative team to support the people of NSW.


The Branch provides energy rebates and crisis payments worth millions of dollars annually to eligible low income and vulnerable households.


Primary purpose of the role:

  • The Customer Service Agent works across either the Energy Accounts Payment Assistance or Energy Rebates teams to deliver high quality customer service and administration.
  • This includes assessing customer eligibility for government support and working with energy retailers to assist customers with seeking additional supports.
  • You will need to be able to communicate well and with empathy when interacting with vulnerable or stressed customers, delivering highquality customer service and meeting KPIs. You will have excellent attention to detail and work with integrity.

We are looking for a team member with:

  • Quality customer service preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced call centre environment.
  • Effective and timely communication skills.
  • A proactive and cando attitude
