The Role You will join an energetic and passionate team of Event Planners who are responsible for coordinating and working with clients to create bold and memorable experiences for all types of events from simple business meetings to our signature #LivingGrand experiences. You will be responsible for all stages of the MICE and Event billing, including payment schedules and accurate invoicing.

Day to Day Monitor the financial components of MICE and Events including contract review, payment schedules, timely and accurate invoicing and ultimate collection of all MICE and Event billings Prepare and distribute weekly deposit schedule report Review weekly outstanding deposits Reconcile and ensure collection of outstanding event accounts Assist Accounts receivable/credit collection where required Handle and respond to all guest enquires and requests efficiently Ensure deposits and invoices are received in line with Hyatt's policies Coordination of distrubution of Purchase Request forms and Gift Vouchers To support the Events team on delegated admin tasks such as sending out MICE communications to relevant departments, update billing lines for upcoming groups when requested, assist with preparations for client inspections and other tasks To manage all internal and house use events when appropriate To be fully aware of the department's financial objectives and do all possible to achieve targets What we are looking for? Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality, Finance or Commerce Previous experience within a five-star hotel or deluxe meeting venue Extensive knowledge of event service operations Ability to build and maintain positive relationship with internal and external customer Computer skills in MS Office and outlook essential, Opera/Envision EMS/RESERVE are desired MUST have an unrestricted working visa for Australia.
