The Company:


QLD commercial builder, with 20+ years of history in the state, they specialise in the construction of buildings in the commercial, health, industrial, education, leisure and retail settings amongst others.


The company has a very low staff turnover which speaks as testament to the Directors, who are passionate about the business and every employee.

The office and site teams are vibrant and energetic. With close teamwork encouraged across the business.

Various social events, BBQ's and get togethers occur regularly.

The Role
If you enjoy wearing many hats, this is the role for you


Combining PA support to the directors, with accounts/bookkeeping for 12 staff, marketing and bids/tenders/submissions using InDesign (must have), HR & Recruitment, and office management and cleanliness; you will be the back bone of the business.


Ideally you will have come from a Commercial Construction company prior, in a similar role:

  • Office Management and Executive Support to Directors
  • Bookkeeping and full financial functions
  • Subcontractor/supplier invoicing
  • Manage and book meeting rooms, diary management
  • Expense management
  • Create client facing documents and produce reports and presentations
  • Creation of submissions, bids and tenders
  • InDesign
  • Edit, proof and format documents
  • Internal/External events management
  • Ensure the office is stocked with necessary resources
  • Liaise with suppliers, e.g. cleaners
  • Basic HR and recruitment, contracts
  • Maintains successful working relationships, builds a positive culture
  • Data entry
  • Social media management
  • Ad hoc admin

Skills and Experience

  • Must have come from similar position in commercial construction ideally, or similar
  • 5+ years experience in all areas of the role
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills especially excel
  • InDesign

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior time management and organisation skills
  • Team player
