About The Role
A great opportunity is on offer to join a dynamic business who are recognised as one of Victoria's largest employers of Indigenous peoples offering employment opportunities within the construction industry.
- motivated, building and developing processes, delivering on end-to-end payroll functions and becoming a key member of the Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
will include, but are not limited to:
- Processing end-to-end payroll, including collecting, entering, and processing timesheets in accordance with EBA entitlements, to ensure accuracy of the payroll function.
- Liaising with workers regarding their timesheets, when required.
- Lodging Single Touch Payroll with the ATO and Superannuation reporting, within the required timeframe.
- Experience in interpreting EBA's, accurately reflecting the conditions or construction industry experience is beneficial.
- Setting worker hirings exposure to a frontend CRM and/or electronic timesheet/payroll package is beneficial.
- Preparation of accurate invoices, including any required adjustments and liaising with clients, as needed.
- Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures, including resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Maintaining internal databases, including adding new employee and client details into internal systems and industry websites, when required.
- Managing external client timesheet Apps, as required.
- Undertaking month end payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
- Previous experience with EBA interpretation is desirable.
- Prior experience with the civil industry would be desirable.
