Still under original ownership, The Be Daring Group, trading retail shops, an eCommerce business and Daring Adult Wholesale has been trading since 1992.

About the role
A fun, easy to sell product in a fabulous professional team environment with training & guidance by expert retailers. We pride ourselves on our professionalism & work ethic. The work environment is fast paced & dynamic as we strive for continual improvement. Our goal is to offer each customer, excellence in customer service.

The business has comprehensive written policies, procedures, and product training guides.

We are seeking a sales staff member employed on a casual basis. The successful applicant will be available to work the majority of our trading hours as required.

While many of the hours are evening and weekend, applicants will be required to be trained on day shifts and required to work day shifts as necessary for support shifts as well as to cover RDO's, personal leave etc.


Important:

This position does not suit an applicant with a full-time day job only looking for weekend and evening work.


The successful applicant must demonstrate an affinity for this industry and be prepared to test and review free sample product to gain an insight into product features and effectiveness.

The successful applicant must also be prepared to appear in social media photos and video.

Duties
Responsible to and under the supervision of the store manager, and the assistant store manager, sales staff are responsible for day-to-day operations when they are rostered

This includes:

  • Store Open / Close
  • Sales
  • Merchandising
  • All necessary day to day operations.

Skills, Experience and Prerequisites

  • MUST be aged 18yrs or older.
  • MUST be available to work the majority of Be Daring's trading hours.
  • MUST have professional standards of personal presentation.
  • MUST have good computer skills & reasonable keyboard speed (min 25wpm)
  • MUST own a telephone.
  • MUST have driver's license and own vehicle (due to late night trading)
  • MUST be prepared to appear in social media photographs and/or video.
  • MUST be able to work without a cigarette break when rostered alone.
  • MUST be available to work at a 2nd store if required for an emergency shift.
  • Previous sales background an advantage but good salespeople sell themselves.
