Principle Accountabilities:


We are growing our People, Safety and Environment function and are seeking Learning & Development Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging learning experiences, that are fit for purpose and support the ongoing development and sustainability of the business.

With a focus on adult learning principles and technology, create self-paced learning models, online and in-person learning programs to provide pathways for career, leadership and personal development at all levels.

You will enhance our employee experience and assist in embedding a high performance culture.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and implement instructorled programs, online programs, webbased learning including all instructional materials
  • Continuous improvement mindset utilising emerging technologies
  • Ensure Learning & Development Partners are provided with the tools to facilitate training workshops (classroom, webinar)
  • Manage the LMS and train leaders and employees on effective utilisation.

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in learning and development, adult education or equivalent
  • 35 years' experience in instructional development
  • Experience working with SAP, SuccessFactors, or similar learning management system
  • Ability to manage projects to successfully deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of engaging, outcomes focused learning, development and training content, including:
  • In-person, instructor lead workshops
  • Virtual classrooms and webinars
  • Selfpaced online modules
  • Welldeveloped professional written, verbal and interpersonal skills including excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal/external stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to achieve goals collaboratively and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to analyse and problem solve.
  • Ability to identify work process improvements.
  • Achievement, action and outcome orientation.
  • Selfmotivated with a result driven approach.
  • Computer literacy skills, including knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office suite, LMS and content creation programs.
