About the Company:


Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:

We require a Support Worker to partner with a 14yo Participant based in Oakey, QLD. Our participant sustained a traumatic brain injury. Due to his injury, he is having difficulties supressing some of his sexualised behaviours with language and actions.

This role is commencing from immediately and is casual on-going. The participant requires support Monday to Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

Pay Rates:

  • Day shift $40.00 per hour
  • Saturday shift $56.00 per hour
  • Sunday shift $72.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • Assistance with domestic tasks
  • Assistance with mobility (he is a falls risk)
  • Supervision for eating/drinking and medication prompting
  • Accompanying and assisting to online lessons at library

Skills & Experiences:

  • Australian Driver Licence
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current Yellow Card
  • Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
  • Immunisation History Statement (evidence of covid vaccinations)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
