About School Infrastructure

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school.

This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

About the role

  • Manage the development and implementation of strategic planning, placemaking and urban development strategies for School Infrastructure NSW.
  • Establish and manage stakeholder relationships to achieve school infrastructure requirements into future urban developments, whilst mitigating risks.


This role will proactively provide advice to internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic planning is embedded into decision making.

Your expertise will enable you to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders to facilitate positive change. You are highly collaborative and effortlessly build strong internal and external working relationships.

Your passion for your role will see you champion Strategic Planning and represent and advocate education within the strategic planning process.


Essential requirements of the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in urban planning & design, architecture or a related field, and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
