In this role, you'll:


Provide a strong presence, participation and be able to hit the ground running in the planning of exercises to test strategic emergency management transport plans.

You will play a major role while in this Eight-month Temporary Opportunity as a Manager Emergency Management Strategic and provide strong supportive leadership and contribution in managing and guiding this close knit team.


The Security, Crisis and Emergency Management branch's primary purpose is to enable and partner with all our divisions in the protection of Transport for NSW - our people, our customers, and our assets - enabling the continued delivery of essential services for the people of NSW.

    About you

You will engage with key stakeholder and liaise and collaborate with all areas of TfNSW to ensure we are represented and are contributing to emergency plans / strategies at a NSW Government state level.


  • As a pivotal role in the emergency management branch from time to time you will be required to travel within and outside the state and participate in an oncall 24/7 roster

You'll have:

  • Lead an assurance program to test Transport's compliance with State and National emergency management plans.
  • Lead and develop relevant security, crisis and emergency management exercises to ensure capability across Transport and its operating agencies.
  • Lead, develop and implement an effective lessons learnt function across Transport
  • Participate in relevant exercise and training committees and arrangements
