About the role


The Clinics Administrator is an integral role in the effective and efficient operation of all the clinics, as well as template management and supervision of the Data and Training Team, within Specialist Outpatient Clinics, on a day to day basis.

Directly reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), liaising with the Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUM), in conjunction with medical, nursing, and clerical staff, to facilitate an integrated model of care, will be a key part of this senior administrative role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the process of recruitment, selection and retention of administration staff.
  • Coordination Specialist Outpatient Clinics Data and Training administration team, including the monitoring and oversight of the clinics template, and data, collection, analysis, monitoring, consolidation and submission requirements in accordance with the Victorian Department of Health.
  • Developing a standard approach for the operation of Specialist Clinics at Grampians Health including a suite of governance documentation and maintenance of same.

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Knowledge and solid experience within Specialist Outpatient Clinics in a public hospital
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy and accountability
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, conceptual and problemsolving skills
  • Exceptional understanding of VINAH data, and rectification of errors

Desirable

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement in health care
  • Experience with scheduling, rostering and template creation and upkeep
  • Post graduate qualifications in a relevant field
  • MS Visio
