The
Communications and Marketing function formulates and leads strategies in support of the University of Melbourne's overarching strategic plan, Advancing Melbourne.

It fosters a culture of best practice and collaboration across the University's marketing functions and uses marketing insights to inform decision-making across the University.


The Associate Director, Data-Driven Marketing plays a critical role in the University's Digital Strategy and Channels team. Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy & Channels, you will be responsible for leading, developing and executing user-centric multi-channel CRM marketing campaign strategies that will accomplish business requirements, in a manner aligned to the University, UC&M and Digital strategies and compliant with relevant legislation.


You will also be responsible for leading and developing a team of high performing professionals to execute best practice in CRM and shared learnings and is accountable for overall performance and compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

About You
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective communication. Desirable qualities include professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative approach. Understanding University priorities and making strategic decisions are advantageous. Proactive initiative-taking and providing risk-based approaches to resource allocation are valued. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and complex multichannel digital campaigns is beneficial.
