Seeking a skilled People & Culture Administrator to join a highly engaged team within a high-profile State Government Agency. Responsible for delivering confidential, timely and accurate P&C administrative support, guidance, and advice.

Engage with and influence staff across all levels of the Agency to deliver positive P&C related outcomes and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Duties and Accountabilities

  • Assist in the management of recruitment documentation including contracts and letters of offer
  • Provide managers with applicant lists for short listing
  • Support managers with recruitment process including providing the position descriptions and advertising vacancies
  • Manage and coordinate the scheduling of interviews, referee checks and psychometric testing
  • Partner with people leaders through the endtoend recruitment and on boarding process to ensure talent is identified, appointed, and supported in line with a best practice recruitment approach
  • Supporting staff onboarding, induction development and offboarding/exit processes through people leaders and staff
  • Act as a first level point of contact for internal staff and stakeholders, representing People & Culture in a professional and customeroriented manner, and promoting P&C initiatives and services in the organisation

Key Capabilities

  • 12+ months experience in similar HR administration role
  • Demonstrated success in the administration and coordination across a wide range of HR related projects and / or functions including recruitment and selection, learning and development, system administration and payroll
  • Strong organisation skills to manage competing priorities and timelines
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external clients to provide responsive, accurate and relevant information and services
  • Good initiative when responding to challenges in a pressured and changing environment
  • Effective problemsolving ability
  • Must have the right to work in Australia and be willing to undergo a Police Check
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid19
