Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Delivery Lead Coordinator contract to 20/12/24 plus extensions based in Carseldine and working from home.

As the Delivery Lead Coordinator, you will manage day to day operations for the Cloud Horizon Project by planning, scheduling, and coordinating technical changes and releases for a team of multi-disciplinary resources. You will work closely with technical, business and vendor resources and report back to the Project Manager in relation to day-to-day progress of migration activities including identifying and raising any risks and issues.

In this role you will:

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure day to day delivery of project activities utilising established project Agile frameworks and tools.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to create implementation plans and run books for application migrations, adhering to existing change management standards and practices.
  • Manage and lead the Release Coordination for application cloud migrations, ensuring evidence of testing and business acceptance of the change.
  • Create and manage ITIL records for project release and change activities using the standard templates, process and tools.
  • Track project activities and progress, determining the impacts on the migration schedule and enacting changes where necessary.
  • Perform communication activities with all stakeholders leading up to, during and after the migration of applications to cloud.

Technical/Occupation Specific:

  • Release and deployment – Lead the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk. Liaises with business and technology teams on release scheduling and communication of progress. Conducts post-release reviews. Ensures that release processes and procedures are applied and that releases can be rolled back as needed. Identifies, evaluates and manages the adoption of appropriate release and deployment techniques, processes and automation tools.
  • Change control – Develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change. Applies change control procedures. Applies tools, techniques and processes to manage and report on change requests.
  • Knowledge management - Organises knowledge assets and oversees the life cycle of identifying, capturing, classifying, storing, and maintaining assets. Facilitates sharing, collaboration and communication of knowledge. Implements specific knowledge management initiatives. Monitors the use and impact of knowledge. Interrogates existing knowledge content to identify issues, risks, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder relationship management - Identifies the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups. Translates communications/stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables. Facilitates open communication and discussion between stakeholders. Acts as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans. Provides informed feedback to assess and promote understanding. Facilitates business decision-making processes. Captures and disseminates technical and business information.
  • Methods and tools – Provide advice and guidance to support the adoption of methods and tools and adherence to policies and standards. Tailors' processes in line with agreed standards and evaluation of methods and tools. Reviews and improves usage and application of methods and tools
