You will lead impactful projects including the Higher Education StudentOne Implementation, VET Nexus, and Enhancing Administration and Student Experience Initiative, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive positive changes, as CQUniversity is extremely committed to excellence in education and continuous improvement.

As a Tertiary Regulatory Officer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and undertaking the development and review of tertiary education policies to support CQUniversity's continuing transition into a fully integrated, comprehensive university. Utilising your excellent communication skills and attention to detail, you will consult with decision-making committees, individuals and stakeholders to ensure continuing compliance with relevant Federal and State government regulatory requirements and contribute to the advancement of tertiary education.

Position Requirements

  • Comprehensive knowledge of governance frameworks and policy development.
  • Ability to review processes and rapidly acquire equivalent knowledge.
  • Substantial knowledge of the Australian higher education and vocational education and training regulatory framework and understanding of the challenges and policy impacts.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Substantial experience and proven ability to initiate, plan and manage projects/work activities to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (desirable).
