Postdoctoral Fellow in Plant: The Research School of Biology at The Australian National University (ANU) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join the Solomon and Williams labs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in plant diseases and plant immunity, contributing to sustainable agriculture and food production.

  • PhD in Biochemistry or a related field.
  • Strong publication record demonstrating expertise in plant biochemistry, with preference given to experience in plant immunity or receptor-ligand interactions.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Job Description: The Postdoctoral Fellow will lead innovative research efforts to identify and characterize a novel plant defense receptor. Responsibilities include utilizing advanced techniques in protein-protein interactions, biochemistry, and molecular biology. The successful candidate will collaborate with leading scientists, access top-tier research facilities, and publish in high-impact journals.
