About the role

  • Undertake case management of a cohort of employees across Metro North Health who are currently not at work owing to ill health (nonWorkers Compensation) and liaise with their relevant line mangers to establish the background of each case and the current state.
  • Support line managers to engage the staff member on potential return to work program/s by gauging and assessing capability and reasonable adjustment factors, further medical reports, and other information to support the line manager and the staff member to a suitable resolution.
  • Manage these cases through Treating Medical Officer reports, Independent Medical Examinations, or other interventions where appropriate on an endtoend basis.
  • Support the Manager Health and Safety to bring these health management cases to an appropriate outcome.
