We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Technology Governance Manager to join our Technology team.

This key role is responsible for overseeing Technology governance, with a remit to set overarching policies, standards, processes, procedures and guidelines for Technology.

With the aviation and travel sector booming as we head into 2023, on top of major projects that will underpin the future growth and development of Melbourne Airport and Victoria as a whole, now is a very exciting time to join

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for overseeing Technology governance, with a remit to set overarching policies, standards, processes, procedures and guidelines for Technology.
  • Maintain and manage the Technology Risk Management processes and to ensure alignment to APAC's Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Facilitate Technology risk assessments, analysis and monitor risk mitigation to ensure effectiveness of remediations.
  • Responsible for managing internal/external Technology audits, including formulating appropriate risk management/remediation actions.
  • Works closely with Technology staff members who engage and manage suppliers, in an advisory capacity and monitors overall supplier performance.
  • Develop and manage the Third Party IT Risk Management processes and assessments.
  • Lead Technology aspects of Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery capabilities and activities.
  • Develops comprehensive Technology dashboards/metrics to govern program effectiveness.
  • Bachelor degree Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Risk Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technology governance and risk management.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing Technology supplier contracts, risks & performance management.
  • Professional certifications in governance, risk, compliance, security, or resiliency are preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to communicate risk and technical issues in business digestible terms.
  • Rigorous attention to detail in all work activities.
