  • Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and coworking spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.**What you'd be doing in this role
  • As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

Please note:

To

create a safe, fun and productive space to help empower our people to do their best work everyday, you'll be working onsite Monday through Friday in our Collingwood Campus.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Making Canvanauts feel welcome, safe and at home in our space
  • Working with vendors to make sure the office runs smoothly and is always well equipped
  • Leading the snack and beverage (incl coffee) offerings rotating every 34 months to keep things exciting and fresh
  • Coordinating and arranging food and beverage activations to surprise and delight our people
  • Forming relationships with staff to best understand their respective teams and use that knowledge to enhance the employee experience
  • Providing event operations support including set up and pack down
  • Assisting with ideation, logistics and setting up of each space as needed to create engaging events for our people
  • Storage facilities management
  • Assisting with Office Swag Stock & Inventory
  • Onboarding and teaching new staff members or contractors

  • You have a hospitality and customer service mentality with a desire to host, build relationships, and create beautiful environments and experiences for your guests.
  • You are collaborative as you'll work with numerous teams to provide support in different areas all across the offices
  • You have the ability to pivot quickly and be flexible to change
  • You're highly equipped with verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail, prioritisation and the ability to follow through with incoming tasks and jobs comes naturally to you.
  • You're a problem solver, willing to look at processes from outside the box and are constantly looking for ways to innovate and streamline as we scale.
**About the team

  • As part of the People SuperGroup, the Vibe team's mission is to make Canva the most inspiring, engaged and productive workplace in the world.
  • As Canva grows, The Vibe Team needs to scale its operations in a way that can adapt to the everchanging needs and complexities of the company, to take on new responsibilities and to contribute in strategic and meaningful ways. Currently, the Vibe team is supporting several different functions including Food and Beverage, Health and Wellbeing, Events and Engagement, Workplace Experience and Facilities and Construction.
  • The Vibe team plays a key role in creating and maintaining the type of workplace that we all love coming to, where every single person has opportunities to grow and develop their skills, is able to do their best work and make an impact, every day.
  • Working with the Melbourne vibe lead, you will look after the upkeep and maintenance of the Campus, guest services, food and beverage, events & activations, celebrations, and internal content & comms for the Melbourne campus.
