About the role


In this part time role based in Box Hill, you will provide team leadership, guidance and support to ensure the effective management of the department, and the ongoing development of our team.

In this active leadership role you will assist the NUM with the daily running of the endoscopy department.


Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager you will be part of our theatre leadership team at Epworth Eastern, joining a highly skilled multidisciplinary team who strive to achieve outstanding outcomes every day, and prides itself on providing excellent service and care for our patients and doctors.


You will make an impact by:
Delivering exceptional patient experience and excellence in customer service.

Role-modelling culture of safety & quality improvement

Developing others to reach their full potential

Assist in day to day management of the Endoscopy team

To be successful in this role you will have:
Ability to work in a fast paced, hands on dynamic team environment

Be passionate about leading through, developing and guiding others

Extensive Endoscopy experience

Flexibility, excellent organisation and adaptable communication skills

Committed to learning and developing current clinical practice

Ability to implement change, bringing others along on the journey

Well-developed understanding of relevant professional standards
