We have partnered with a growing community services organisation to present this great opportunity to lead two residential services for adults with psychosocial and intellectual disability. This pivotal role goes beyond mere supervision, enabling you to contribute to the overall outcomes of the participants, develop the skills of your team and continue to enable the expansion of services to those in need.

This position will be based in South West Sydney.

The Role

This role is responsible for the day to day operations and management of residential services that support participants with a psychosocial and intellectual disability (including Autism).

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the delivery of services in line with individuals' plans and budgets
  • Develop, lead, motivate and manage a team to provide a first-class service
  • Participate as part of the roster and work directlt
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services through regular reflection and review of outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Manage all areas of risk and compliance in line with organisational and legislative requirements
  • Accountability for the income and expenditure for the allocated site
  • Develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with client's families, support networks, community partners and other stakeholders
  • Work as part of the roster with a requirement to work every Saturday.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Preferably a Certificate IV in Disability or Community Services
  • A minimum of two years of leadership experience at a managing multiple services.
  • Sound understanding of the NDIS framework
  • Minimum of Five years of experience working with people with a disability
  • Full Australian driver's license
  • Australian citizen, permanent resident or unrestricted visa holder
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
  • COVID 19 Vaccination or exemption
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
