Temporary full-time role up to 30 June 2027 Salary: $120,859 pa - $133,183 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role The DFV (Domestic and Family Violence) Investment team in NSW focuses on policy development, reform, and Budget processes for Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) services.

They play a crucial role in prioritising investment opportunities in programs aimed at both preventing and responding to DFV and are responsible for crafting funding proposals based on these programs.

They also take a leading role in the continuous development of the data landscape, evidence base and outcomes monitoring of DFV policies and reform.

What you'll do In this role, you will: Support development of DFV (Domestic and Family Violence) reform policy.
Support DFV Budget processes and associated documentation (e.g.

business cases)Develop stakeholder relationships across DCJ and with other agency partners (e.g., The Cabinet Office, NSW Treasury, Legal Aid, NSW Health, Department of Education, NSW Police)Assist with ad-hoc policy guidance and correspondence/ allocations related to DFVThe role is based in the DFV Investment team in the DFSV Strategy and Reform Branch of the Women, Family and Community Safety Directorate.

The DFV Investment team is a dynamic and fast paced unit focused on driving future investment into the NSW DFSV system with the aim of creating a future where all people are free from domestic, family and sexual violence.

The successful candidate will join a motivated and adaptable team, eager to make a positive impact in this area.

What we're looking for In addition to meeting the essential requirements listed in the role description, you will have: Advanced policy writing skills, strong understanding of public policy, sound project management skills, experience supporting policy reform and related processes (e.g., business case development), Sound understanding of Budget and funding processes, Understanding and interest in domestic and family violence.

Post graduate qualifications in public policy or other relevant field or minimum 3 years policy experience, experience developing business cases and funding requests, experience working in DFV policy and projects, experience managing a team.
