Multiple Permanent full-time opportunities (3)Based at our Parramatta office with hybrid/flexible working arrangements supported Clerk Grade 9/10 - Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $120,859 to $ 133,183 + super The newly created Ethics Branch within the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water currently has great opportunities available for ethics/ compliance professionals eager to elevate their career and work in a specialised and dedicated team to join as the Senior Ethics Officer.

About the role and ideal candidate In your role as Senior Ethics Officer, you will actively support the department in meeting ethics and integrity related compliance obligations.

As a trusted subject matter expert, you will provide evidence based, strategic and operational advice and recommendations through the analysis and review of current and emerging complex ethics and compliance issues as well as be responsible for the preparation and management of communications and the delivery of integrity training.

Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, you will drive integrity awareness and promote best practice through the implementation of strategies supporting sound decision making and establishing a standardised approach to compliance processes.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff to support professional growth and skill development.

About You In this advisory role, you will champion ethics compliance and risk mitigation through your knowledge of corporate governance and/ or risk management as well as your experience undertaking ethics and compliance activities.

Your exceptional stakeholder engagement and management capabilities will be instrumental to your success in this role where you will effectively build strong, collaborative, and sustainable working relationships with stakeholders across all levels.

Supported by your strong communication skills, you will present accurate, expert advice and recommendations to support informed decision making and influence positive outcomes with stakeholders.

You will be highly organised and someone who thrives working in fast paced, compliance and regulatory environment, diligently managing your workload with the flexibility to prioritise competing demands whilst observing the need for confidentiality and privacy.

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you have: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in corporate governance, risk and investigations Demonstrated experience in conducting Government investigations For more information hit Apply to visit the website.
