Role Overview:
Public Sector People are partnering with a State Government Department to employ an AO2 Administration Officer on a contract basis.
In this role you will provide efficient, effective, and reliable clerical and administrative support to enable the team to meet its strategic, business and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks to enable the efficient and effective collection, administration, and compliance
- Manage correspondence (e.g. processing, and distribution) in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Proactively and efficiently respond to queries from internal and external clients
- Generate correspondence regarding basic queries to clients through formatted letter templates in accordance with Office processes.
- Operate Office systems and devices (e.g. computer systems, multifunction devices, and telephones).
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client service and efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with recordkeeping standards while managing timely, accurate, and complete information to enable smarter decision making.
- Proactively contribute to achieve Division and Office objectives and client relationship management principles.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of digital and data technology/systems.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
