About the Position

Under the guidance of the Training Manager, you will play a vital role in advising, supporting, and mentoring our frontline leaders in their preparation for the DMIRS law exam. Offering firsthand guidance on study preparation, exam structure, and processes, while also monitoring exam bookings, attendance, and results are key responsibilities of this position.

  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure the necessary personnel are registered for the appropriate leadership modules
  • Engage with all frontline leaders participating in the WHS leader course to advocate for the available support and processes
  • Identify individuals who may need extra assistance in exam preparation and provide solutions accordingly
  • Foster open lines of communication for frontline leaders concerning DMIRS Law exam readiness
  • Establish communication channels with candidates to monitor feedback, attendance, and DMIRS Law Exam results
  • Present reports on training course attendance and Exam outcomes to relevant parties
  • Develop additional support mechanisms for personnel to access assistance in preparing for the Exam

Your Contributions to the Team

  • Satisfactory completion of the DMIRS Law Exam is a fundamental requirement for this role
  • Thorough comprehension of the WHS Act and Regulation (Mines) is crucial for this position
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – preferred
  • Demonstrated background in exam preparation such as tertiary examinations
