Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to defining the target security architecture for all components of the program
  • Assist in defining the security framework, including ISO 27001, PSPF, ISM, and ASD top 37 cyber security measures
  • Contribute to the overall design of the security architecture, considering transition, operational, and risk requirements
  • Provide input to detailed security management design efforts, ensuring compatibility with the new operating model
  • Oversee the implementation of security controls within project solutions
  • Assist in estimating budgetary resources, schedules, and costs required for the solutions
  • Collaborate with the broader program team to ensure consistency and support between the security architecture and overall business and platform architectures
  • Comply with client's work, health, and safety policies and procedures, prioritizing the health and safety of employees, contractors, and visitors

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience with at least one of the following frameworks: NIST Cyber Security Framework, ACSC Information Security Manual (ISM), or Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).
  • Agreement to obtain or possess a baseline security clearance, covered by Bureau expenses.
  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance at a minimum and NV1 Security Clearance where required

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in implementing security frameworks and controls, including PSPF and ISM
  • Knowledge of secure software development practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Ability to perform threat and risk assessments
  • Experience in developing security reference architecture and design patterns
  • Skill in threat modelling and reviewing security testing findings and treatment plans
  • Background in cybersecurity within a mid to largescale environment
