Your New Role Reporting to the Reporting to the Senior Manager Information Security Assurance, the Security Specialist is a key member of Australian Super Information Security team and plays a key role in delivering core elements of the security plan.

The role will operate Australian Super's User Access Review program, driving program improvements and ensuring Australian Super's assurance obligations are met.

The role will further support the wider Information Security Assurance team in delivering against the assurance plan, providing confidence to management that assets have the appropriate protections in place.

The scope includes verifying and reporting to business functions and management, the effectiveness of security controls and processes protecting Australian Super people, information, property and members assets.

Your key responsibilities will include; Managing the quarterly User Access Review Process.

Embedding the program and continuing to improve its capabilities through expansion of scope Supporting the Senior Security Specialist in completing third party assurance reviews Assessing security controls across Australian Super applications, services and systems Working closely with other security functions to define testing criteria for each control Working closely with teams to identify business and enterprise wide risks, minimise exceptions to policies/standards, agree compensating controls, changes to policy or agree alternatives with business stakeholders in the treatment of risks identified Guiding and supporting functional areas with Line 1 accountabilities to ensure effective operation of their operational assurance programs Contribute to maintaining the security controls framework for ICT systems, including testing criteria for each control, providing oversight and enterprise reporting of all security control testing across the Fund to enable management action Verifying current state architecture in conjunction with the Security Architecture team to provide a baseline of security controls.

What You'll Need Knowledge of User Access Review processes Experience in generating reports, providing advice and strategic guidance to stakeholders including Senior Executives, the Board and Risk and Audit specialists Experience in IT security assurance Consultancy skills demonstrated through the analysis, design and review of systems and roadmaps to transformation Knowledge and understanding of relevant security standards and APRA guidelines and practical ability to implement Experience in Cyber and Information Security, providing advice and strategic guidance to key stakeholders including Senior Executives, the Board and Risk and Audit specialists Experience in the planning, implementation and assessment of Cyber and IT security and vulnerability management Strong understanding of situational awareness, threat landscapes and modelling Understanding of online and digital landscape, emerging and disruptive industry offerings Certifications or a Degree related to information security (e.g.
CISSP, ISO27001, CISM, CISA) or equivalent.
