What you bring
You are a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker. You will possess a strong patient-centred focus, well-developed leadership and communication skills and bring a range of clinical experience. We are seeking applicants with excellent problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude. The ability to work autonomously is essential. Experience in Acute Healthcare is preferred, and previous experience working in an Emergency Department would be beneficial.
In this exciting position you will contribute to:
- Providing a high standard of client assessment, treatment and coordination of services to patients, to facilitate safe, effective, and person centred care
- Providing assessments, treatments and interventions of an interdisciplinary nature in line with the competencies that have been developed for these roles
- Participating in the development of a collaborative interprofessional team approach to achieve optimal patient care and outcomes
- Actively challenging traditional models of care, with the aim of delivering effective clinical outcomes in the most efficient manner
- Work with Team Leader, Allied Health staff and Emergency Department staff to ensure workload within the team is coordinated, prioritised and fairly distributed across the team and maximises operational effectiveness
What you need:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or Social Work (or equivalent).
- Registration with AHPRA (where applicable)
- Demonstrated understanding of how social, physical and functional needs impact an individual's performance.
