The University Communications team is dynamic, collaborative, and committed to supporting your career growth and development.

This role will see you draw on your exceptional skills in building trust, rapport and anticipating stakeholder needs to offer best-practice advice and guidance to the wider University Communications team.

About You


You will be an independent self-starter, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting team and project outcomes.

You will be highly organised, adept at managing your time and a strong communicator who will bring creative solutions and ideas to our channels space.


To excel in this position, you'll also have:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing communications, content and execution
  • Demonstrated experience working with business partners and key stakeholders to provide recommendations on best-practice communications and campaigns.
  • Ability to provide channel recommendations depending on audience and desired outcomes. Experience in channel management is beneficial.
  • Understanding of how to collect, analyse, and interpret data to develop an understanding of audience motivations, preferences and opinions.
About the Portfolio


The International and Engagement portfolio is responsible for RMIT's international strategy and agenda, including international development and partnerships and oversight of our international operations including RMIT Vietnam and RMIT Europe.

It also incorporates the University's key engagement functions including communications, experience (global marketing, global student recruitment, alumni), and business development and partnerships.
