The Role
Reporting to the Director of Operations for the region you will be responsible for:
- Providing analysis and commercial insight in building sound business cases.
- Developing Project Management methodologies and reporting to the Executive Management group on major projects and providing intelligent insight and advice on the capital strategy.
- Working with a range of internal stakeholders to develop the capital engineering program.
- Developing the Capital strategy and long term asset risks and requirements for the business.
- Overseeing all capital spend and managing the delivery milestones, with regular reporting back to the executive group.
- Managing key strategic multi million dollar, multi discipline capital projects from timeline, budget & specification.
- You will also be responsible for driving long term sustainable efficiencies and be responsible for managing a variety of external consultancies and contractors while also taking a lead on a major capital projects.
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
- Degree qualification in Engineering
- Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at an executive management level.
- Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to understand long and short term business objectives.
- Proven experience delivering major multi discipline projects within the FMCG industry.
- Excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- An ability to effectively communicate at different levels and also provide intelligent commercial insights around capital.
- The ability to deliver projects across Australia with the flexibility to be able to be at the various manufacturing plants when required.
