Working in an experienced and collaborative team, this position is responsible for supporting AV's strategic and commercial involvement in a range of Victorian "Whole of Government" (or multi-agency) communication projects.


About the role
Reporting to Lead, Emergency Communications Contracts, the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide efficient contract management and administration of nominated State communication contracts,
  • Ensure the achievement of AV's operational strategies as they relate to the equipment and services provided to AV,
  • Evaluate, negotiate and manage variations, associated with the contracts and/or administrative arrangements,
  • Manage daytoday contractor oversight, account management and timely reporting,
  • Engage with business stakeholders and ensure alignment with divisional, AV and Whole of Government Emergency communication strategies.

About you
To be considered for this position, you will possess the following:

  • A tertiary qualification with proven subsequent relevant experience, preferably in a business, technology or engineering related discipline,
  • Experience in tendering processes including contract evaluation and negotiation, preferably in the public sector,
  • Experience in contract management and administration in a complex environment,
  • Experience in the provision of contractual and commercial advice to senior management,
  • Exceptional relationship building skills to take appropriate action to develop strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This position is graded at
AV4 under the Ambulance Victoria (Management and Administrative Staff) Enterprise Agreement 2021.
