Reporting to the General Manager - Operations, you will be a key member of the National Logistics Operations team, responsible for overseeing and managing the linehaul operations across the country

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

Engaging with existing and potential new clients on opportunities to generate new business or organic revenue. Providing customer solutions that help the customer utilise the road linehaul network that supports our rail-based customers. Seeking opportunities in the market that addresses utilisation of equipment. Managing of all the road linehaul movements nationally. Controlling the financial information in regard to Profit and Loss Effectively utilising equipment and facilities to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective operation. Ensuring adequate levels of appropriately trained employees are available to effectively maintain service levels. Conducting yourself in a manner that ensures SCT is recognized as safe, reliable and a quality supplier of related services. Ensuring requirements are met and all driver, staff and contractors are compliant in safety system and inductions are up to date. Reporting and documenting, in our safety system all Incidents, Near Misses and Hazards. Serious incidents are to be communication immediately to the GM - Operations. Developing Others – Improving skills and effectiveness through clear feedback, mentoring, coaching, the provision of development opportunities and identification of potential in others

This role can be based out of NSW Minchinbury, QLD Bromelton or VIC Altona

Previous experience & knowledge of interstate transport, warehouse and rail transport industries Experience using SAP
