Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic OSHC Casual Educator who is currently pursuing a tertiary degree in education or a related field. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain practical experience working with children and passionate about making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a variety of activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate programs and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all children feel valued and supported.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant OSHC service.
- Support children's individual needs and development.
Requirements
- Currently undergoing a tertiary degree in education or a related field.
- Passionate about working with children making a positive impact on their lives.
- Experience working with children is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work on a casual basis.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred but not mandatory).
