Department overview

Our Commercial team includes: Sales, Customer Success and Technical Support. The team collaboratively strives to achieve our ambitious aspirations for scaling our business.

•Increase revenue growth: new customer acquisition, identifying new market segments and opportunities to significantly expand our customer base.


•Enhance existing customer engagement, building lasting relationships with our customers to help them gain maximum value from our products and services.


•Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely support, resolving customer issues quickly and efficiently, reducing downtime and enhancing overall product reliability.

How you'll make an impact

We're seeking an Inbound Business Development Manager who enjoys uncovering new sales opportunities within small and midsize businesses join our team responsible for growing strategic relationships within a diverse customer portfolio of industries. You'll not only contribute to elevated client satisfaction, but also position yourself for significant professional growth as our business continues to scale.

You'll be working with a team of supportive, intelligent and curious individuals, passionate about technology and who like working through a diversity of problems to solve. You will be a collaborative, energetic individual who consistently displays a positive attitude with a good understanding of business processes. We will provide on the job product training as well as the opportunity for you to build upon your sales foundations.

What you'll do


•Serve as a primary recipient for leads and trial opportunities procured from our lead generation team, taking ownership of allocated leads, nurturing and converting through to closed/won customers.


•Quote pricing & solutions for both new leads and enquiries and maintain a growing database of prospects.


•Assist with onboarding clients, negotiating contracts and account setups.


•Contribute to team effort with any work required on tenders, pitches and meetings as required.


•Learn the SMS platform products, processes, features, benefits, pricing & market conditions inside and out.


•Gain a high level of knowledge on Telco carrier networks and message termination of SMS, MMS and RCS messaging, as well as early insights into Social platform messaging.

What you'll bring


•Ideally 1-3 years experience within a B2B SaaS sales role such as Inside Sales, Sales Development or Business Development.


•A working understanding of navigating and tracking through CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce.


•Exceptional performance results coupled with astute commercial discussion.


•Confidence and comfort in conversations with business owners, marketing managers and IT managers.


•Ability to handle and process a large number of daily inbound leads through structure, process and determination.


•A passion for all things technology and a high conviction view on trends in the market.
