If you are waiting to give back, be part of an engaged and energised workforce than this opportunity might be for youCafs Youth Care program offer a diverse range of trauma-informed services for children and young people who cannot live with their own families.

Youth Care includes Youth Residential Care, Better Futures, Home Stretch and Youth Case Management services, providing a range of services including professional care in a safe and home-like environment for young people aged 10-17; transition and leaving care support and assistance for young people from age 15 and 9 months who are transitioning from residential care to other care arrangements or to independent living, and intensive case management for young people who reside in a Cafs residential care unit or are supported by a Targeted Care Package, Better Futures funding or an alternate funding mechanism.

Youth Care also includes Cafs After-Hours Program.

The After-Hours program supports Cafs services that operate outside of the normal Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm operating hours.

The After-Hours program primarily supports the Residential Care Program, Foster and Kinship Carers and Cafs Childrens Contact Service.

As the Manager of Youth Care you will oversee, lead and further develop Cafs suite of Youth programs to ensure high quality client outcomes so that children and young people in care are supported to lead flourishing lives.

The Manager Youth Care will directly support, lead and develop a team of experienced Team Leaders across Cafs Youth and After-Hours programs.

You have a strong desire to deliver good outcomes for young people.
You have demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in trauma informed principles and approaches.
You are confident in recommending, designing, and implementing new procedures and processes.
You have substantial experience leading teams in complex regulatory settings.

Your highly developed cultural awareness and sensitivity, partnered with excellent communication skills, will enable you to build strong relationships, with our stakeholders.
