The Company

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director you will develop and deliver a comprehensive human resources service and ensure that high quality staff are retained, developed and supported to meet current and future strategic objectives.


  • To develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that effectively meets the business needs and adds value to the business.
  • To advise Management Team in the implementation of strategic issues including organisational structure, culture, leadership and organisational competencies.
  • To ensure that all policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and revised as appropriate to comply with employment law and government directives and to enable the company to meet the changing needs of their business
  • Responsible for recruitment, visa coordination and support, onboarding, managing company benefits, awards, rewards, and their introduction to employees.
  • Management of HR personnel including appraisals, motivation, development, and support. Manage off boarding process.
  • To ensure that managers and employees are aware of their legal and contractual responsibilities
  • To promote, progress and champion policies and update the Company Handbook to reflect the changes in policy and legislation
  • To support the maintenance of effective employee relationships and to facilitate any difficulties and their resolution
  • To provide effective and timely training for employees.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the recruitment process and ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time
  • Work closely with Line Managers to ensure consistent, efficient working practices
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with all employees, managers, Global and Regional HR and other external agencies
  • Identify training needs to ensure employees have the relevant skills to do their job
  • Liaise with payroll for payroll processing and periodic and statutory salary and remuneration changes. To ensure that the fortnightly payroll is prepared, approved and processed and that subsequent statutory payments are made.
  • Capable to backup payroll, with view to transfer payroll to human resource manager within a negotiable period in line with managing SAP SuccessFactors interface with payroll ADP. (Current backup is inplace).
  • Coaching, advice and support for the Line Managers in people management
  • Support the WHS/QMS Manager with WHS and Quality
  • Communicate key information as required
  • Safeguarding the induction, further development and wellbeing of employees
  • Degree in Business
  • Human Resource/ People Management

Experience

  • Experience of working in a generalist HR environment
  • Knowledge of Employment Law, Data Protection, Equality and Diversity
  • Experience in development of policies and processes
  • Previous payroll experience is desirable
