• Employment: Full-time - Term Contract (temporary up to 30 June 2025)

About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the CAMHS – Mount Gambier team as a Clinical Psychologist. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Handling a direct clinical case load.
• Demonstrating proficiency in various evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Implementing evidence-based individual, family, and/or group therapies and programs using a variety of models and skills.
• Serving as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies, and the community.
• Promoting service access and equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and their families.

About You

To succeed in this position, you should have:

• A relevant Clinical degree or equivalent qualification recognized by the Psychology Board of Australia.
• General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and a 2-year Master's within Psychology.
• Clinical experience in treating complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
• Knowledge of clinical psychology theory and practice, including group or family work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with other professionals.
• The capability to work responsibly with minimal supervision.
