Our client a high profile Australian Organisation is seeking a

Commercial Data Manager for a permanent role in their Business Intelligence team.

This is an urgent role located in the Lower Northern suburbs of Sydney.

Willing to consider intermediate to senior applicants.

Paying excellent perm market rates.

Working within the Sales Operations Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for creating a framework that enables the company to make

informed decisions by designing and implementing data collaboration

strategies to identify, extract, aggregate and present key metrics from

various data sources for use across multiple software interfaces.

Role/ Skills Required:

  • Identify and surface insights from the various data sources to provide solutions that align with company goals and business strategy
  • Work closely with Ad Sales Data Technology team to determine appropriate data solutions and modeling for Sales stakeholder needs
  • Source, collate and present key data points from various data sources including reporting cubes, data warehouses, google sheets, excel, API extracts
  • Design and create purpose built and scalable standardised data reporting solutions for use by the Business Intelligence Commercial Analysis team. The tools used will include Tableau BI, Power Query, SQL & Python
  • Create and automate regular data extracts as required for daily, weekly and monthly reporting in line with reporting timetables, ensuring data accuracy is maintained and
  • Instigate data integrity checks across all automated reports to ensure data accuracy and identify potential issues
  • Support Business Intelligence team reporting requirements across all reporting software platforms when needed
  • Adhoc assistance as required for the Business Intelligence team.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar commercial business environment
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Extensive experience in analysing data and extracting meaningful insights aimed at improving business operations
  • Extensive experience in uncovering trends, patterns and correlations in large amounts of raw data
  • Extensive experience in using SQL, Python and Power Query
  • Ability to interpret and identify key information within a large and complex data framework sourced from a multitude of different systems
  • Positive and flexible, "can do" attitude
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced team while managing competing priorities
Desirable

  • Experience in a similar role in leading a team
