Responsibilities:

Contract Expertise: Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse range of contracts for infrastructure projects, ensuring precision and alignment with legal standards.

Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments for infrastructure ventures, offering strategic advice to mitigate potential legal risks and safeguard project success.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of local and international regulations influencing infrastructure projects, ensuring unwavering compliance with legal requirements.

Project Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and engineers, to align legal strategies with project objectives and timelines.

Legal Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive legal documentation related to infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on legal aspects of potential projects, providing insightful recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders on legal best practices and compliance in the dynamic landscape of the infrastructure sector.

Requirements:

Legal Qualification: Qualified lawyer with a degree from a recognised institution.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in infrastructure law.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure legislation, regulations, and best practices.

Contract Expertise: Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in assessing legal risks.
