Our services include wholesale product delivery, retail services, marketing programs and business advisory services.**The responsibilities for this role include: - Conduct analysis to understand data and articulate the story behind the data, drawing out insights and making recommendations to address emerging trends
- Understand the work of the category teams to ensure the data being generated, analysed and distributed at scheduled timeframes is meaningful and meets the required need
- Work collaboratively as an integral team member in our category team, ensuring endtoend process compliance and continual improvement
- Monitor and provide insights into inventory health
- Combine a financial and inventory view of the category performance to analyse stock levels and make recommendations on strategies to achieve set KPIs
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Team to generate annual category budgets which support the achievement of set KPIs matching APIs Strategic growth objectives
- Leading endtoend category management
- Make factbased decisions to support category planning, including applicable promotional activities, pricing, etc.
- Maintain a continual improvement mindset to challenge the norm and historical ways of working
- 5 years' experience in a planning position in a retail / wholesale industry
- Demonstrated experience in a data and process analyst role
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with high level of proficiency in excel required
- Systems proficiency particularly SAP and MicroStrategy or similar BI tool
- Ability to selfmanage and have a high level of autonomy, while being an integral team member
- Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive outlook toward change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide clear instruction and guidance to others, helping them to understand process and the actions required to implement recommendations
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities while delivering exception work within the required timeframes
- Ability to think strategically and practical problemsolving skills
- Knowledge of and experience in using SAP and Micro Strategy is desirable
