THE OPPORTUNITY


Our client, one of Australia's leading Lithium contractors, is seeking entry-level & experienced Environmental Professionals with a wide range of roles available.


ENTRY LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing environmental advice and support to the business in all aspects of environmental management and compliance
  • Conducting site visits to further develop environmental skills and capabilities of all workers in accordance with environmental strategy
  • Maintain environment aspects and impacts register

HIGHER LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain drill rig or sitespecific environmental management plans and supporting documentation
  • Conducting environment inspections and audits
  • Ensuring environment incidents are reported, investigated and corrective actions are implemented
  • Provide environmental awareness training
  • Provide assistance with health and safety activities on sites

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary degree in Environmental Science or similar
years' environmental experience
years' experience working within the mining, drilling or exploration industry

  • Working knowledge of government environmental policies and legislative requirements within the mining sector
  • Valid drivers licence
