We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Managing Consultant to join our Contaminated Site Assessment and Remediation Team in Perth, Australia.
About the Role:As a Managing Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and managing fieldwork programs, supervising subcontractors and ERM personnel on site, and executing environmental assessments and remediation programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate actively as part of the Perth contaminated sites team
- Supervise fieldwork programs, including subcontractors and ERM personnel on site
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team
- Execute environmental assessments and remediation programs involving the collection of field data (soil, soil gas/vapour, groundwater)
- Provide inputs into environmental reports
- Assist with the preparation of client proposals and creating opportunities for further business development
- Previous consulting experience (5 – 10+ years) in contaminated land field with good business acumen
- Relevant tertiary qualification (geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, soil science or other related science subject degree)
- Building effective working relationships with clients, project teams, disciplines, and business units
- High appreciation and understanding of health & safety requirements on complex work sites
- Fieldwork experience involving data collection (soil, water, soil vapour, etc.)
- Familiarity with preliminary and detailed site investigation and sampling techniques is required and a working knowledge of the ASC NEPM is required
- Experience providing inputs into elements of projects and/or proposals
- Proven report writing skills
- Authorised to work full-time in Australia; and Full Drivers License issued by an Australian state or territory
