YOUR ROLE
As a pivotal member of our sales team, you are entrusted with the mission of both maintaining and expanding our customer base within your designated territory.
Your role is central to achieving and surpassing sales targets through a meticulous approach to customer account management and new business acquisition.
You will be actively involved in gap selling to enhance the growth of existing accounts, while also identifying and engaging with potential new clients and those we've previously not retained.
Your strategy will encompass a comprehensive understanding of our clients' current and future needs, enabling you to offer tailored solutions that resonate with their objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Crafting and executing sales strategies to meet revenue and margin targets, while ensuring alignment with our service expectations and credit policies.
- Developing and maintaining deep relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers across customer organizations.
- Leveraging your market knowledge to identify sales opportunities, manage a robust sales pipeline, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure that customer delivery expectations are exceeded, contributing to supply agreement preparations, and managing inventory effectively to minimize stock issues.
- Utilizing your strong presentation skills to articulate the value of our offerings, ensuring our proposals are compelling and aligned with customer needs.
ABOUT YOU
You are a seasoned sales professional with a knack for fostering lasting relationships and driving sales results.
With a background that marries high commercial acumen with a solid grasp of solution selling techniques, you are adept at navigating complex selling environments.
Your experience spans multiple market sectors and includes managing a diverse range of products, which equips you with the insights needed to tailor your approach to different customer needs effectively.
Your qualifications and skills set you apart, allowing you to excel in this role:- Possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for those holding a tertiary qualification in a related field.
- Demonstrated ability in achieving sales targets, backed by strong sales, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems, with a strong ability to analyze data and forecast sales trends.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to engage effectively with customers and internal teams alike.
- You're known for your time management prowess, able to juggle various demands while adhering to deadlines, and maintain a customercentric mindset throughout.
