A little about the role:


In this role, you'll provide administrative support and use your excellent Aboriginal engagement skills working on our Future Water Source Projects across the State.

You'll provide support to our Aboriginal Heritage, Native Title & Engagement Specialist, and work together as a team - you'll be true partners.


You'll also respond to queries and provide advice in relation to Native Title and Aboriginal Heritage impacts, Aboriginal processes, policy and statutory obligations relating to the project.


Some key skills and experiences we are looking for:

  • This position relates to Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, where Aboriginality is considered a genuine occupational qualification for this position
  • You'll have excellent Microsoft office suite experience
  • Knowledge of Aboriginal communities and cultures
  • Capacity to engage and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Traditional Owners and Aboriginal communities
  • Demonstrates the values and behaviours that contribute to a constructive, high performance culture
  • Possesses well developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates sound negotiation, decisionmaking and well developed time management skills
