In this role, you'll:

  • Based out of Port Kembla, join the Chief Operations Office Branch in the Greater Sydney Division on a Permanent fulltime basis.
  • Form a part of the Maritime South Unit and be responsible for providing highlevel support to senior management on project coordination, monitoring business and project performance, providing reports and planning/scheduling resource requirements to support the effective operation of the region.
  • Provide a full range of administrative functions, including authorising purchasing and payment of accounts, consistent with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports, collect data and analyse financial and operational statistics to identify and develop business improvements.
  • Provide quality operational and product information and assistance to clients and employees on maritime products, operations, systems, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure high quality presentation of correspondence conference papers with accurate facts and information according to agreed timeframes.
  • Work in partnership with various teams throughout the organisation, engaging with stakeholders, building relationships to enhance the overall success of the region.

  • Excellent comprehension skills and are an analytical thinker who can juggle and deliver multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence and communicate effectively and creatively problemsolving.
  • Possess strong communication, document creation, data analysis, management and influencing skills.
  • Experience or knowledge in procurement and contract management.
  • Are comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with multiple internal/external stakeholders to drive shared outcome and take pride in delivering high quality solutions.
